Benito here. Randy is off again. So I guess I should write something. AAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It hurts my hands to write.

Here is something I find this week in the paper.

“A sense of grievance spilling into rage has gripped some GOP events this week as McCain supporters see his presidential campaign lag against Obama. Some in the audience are making it personal, against the Democrat. Shouts of “traitor,” “terrorist,” “treason,” “liar,” and even “off with his head” have rung from the crowd at McCain and Sarah Palin rallies, and gone unchallenged by them.”

And I just want to say you have a lovely country here but I’m getting a little afraid to go out in public.  Yesterday I heard someone say they would go to Mexico and take some of my friends North while they were having siestas.  Then leave them in Nebraska so when they wake up they run into Canada.

They all laughed but it is not so funny.  Everybody is very mad.   Friskeena sometimes starts yelling about Benny and throwing stuff around the house.

People are being afraid of many things and now they are mad too.   But this McCain guy starts talking all this trash about Senator Obama and then when everyone starts yelling about it he says he’s going to be alright as President.

It’s very confusing.  Old people should not run for President.  They are confused.  It’s like they wake up In Nebraska and drive to California.   Then they think they find the boat to Martha’s Vineyard.

Oh Oh.  Someone is outside the door.  Maybe it’s Friskeena.  Or it could be John McCain and some guys who want to go to Montana.  I better hide.

Randy will be back tomorrow.  I think he’s out on the Interstate looking for Lorelle.  He better be careful or someone will try to take him to Florida.

How bad off can this country be at the moment?   They still have plenty of money for gas.  And the price is coming down faster than Friskeena can fly to the Helmut City Revue on a Friday nite.

Hi there.  This is Randy Rooney again.  I have been informed by the management of this blog that I am supposed to write several posts per week here.

But before I start churning out posts I need to clear something up.   I am presently not dating anyone.  All the rumors about me going off with someone are absolutely not true.   To be very honest there is only one woman for me and she is taken.

I am in love with Lorelle.  So you see I cannot be just running around out here with anyone when I’m busy thinking about her.  But Lorelle is married AND she is always moving about the country in her RV.

Friskeena says I’m just not ready for a real relationship and that’s why I’m always thinking about Lorelle.  She says I need to get real and find someone who is approachable and willing to give me the things I desire.  And she also says that Benny is going away next weekend to participate in a bowling tournament.

Maybe she’s right.  But the fact is that I have been holed up reading posts Lorelle wrote five or six years ago and that’s why I haven’t been here.

And I’ve been taking some photos too.  Here’s one I took the other day that reminded me of someone.

You see what I mean?  I’ve got a bad case.  Maybe it will help to talk about more.  But I have to go now.  Friskeena is coming up the walk and she is going to be banging on the door in a second.

I need to hide.

Good morning.  Benny Van Dweezle calling this meeting to order.   Where’s Rooney?   He is supposed to be here.  That  boy needs to be here.   Because we are not satisfied with his work.  The last thing he wrote was on September 24th.  Friskeena is not happy.

Nobody is happy about Randy.  What’s he been doing anyway?

Did he find a girl?  Maybe he’s been too busy “learning to love again” and the blogging just isn’t important.

Well we will just have to start without him.    Benito!  What do we need to discuss today?

Benito:  We need to talk about the upcoming election.  NLB has not been doing a good job of covering it.    And it’s going to be over soon.  We need to hurry up and say something about it.

Say something?  Like what?   The Big O is going to win.   McCannot is going to lose.  Case closed.

Benito:  Shouldn’t we say something about where a President Obama is going to take us?

Why?  We know where he is going to take us.   Get all your laundry ready because he is going to take you to the cleaners. What do you think Friskeena?

Friskeena:  I think Mr. Obama is ten times the man you are Randy.    I want him to be my president.  And i want to serve him in any way i can.

Alright.  That’s enough from you.  Why don’t you go start dinner.  Make some more meatballs or something.

Benito:  Someone said it’s time for the Democrats to have a chance to run things again.   Because there’s going to be a depression and nobody wants to end up with that  hot potato.

Man! You are a happy group!   Try to be a little more uplifting please!   And let’s see if we can’t find some time to write a few posts.

Benny:  I can’t write right now.  I have a tendon problem and the keyboard makes it worse.   Besides, Randy is supposed to be writing three posts per week in October.

Well find him then!   Get him away from his new squeeze and back to work.  And hire someone else to fill in some of the dead spots on the calendar.

That’s all I have for today.   Now get back to work.
