US lawmakers finished crafting a farm bill this week. And you might want to finish chewing on your breakfast before I tell you how much it is going to cost. Because we don’t want you choking on your Cheerios.

300 Billion dollars.

Martha! Get the paddles! He’s fallen over again and he can’t get up!

Clear.

POOOOSH. Clear! POOOOOOOOSH.

Sorry. Wait. I can see dead people! What does that mean?

Alright. I will stop. Just a little fantasy about dropping out after hearing that the most prosperous nation in the world needs to spend nearly a third of a trillion dollars on FOOD!

You could feed all of Africa for years with that much money!

Let’s talk about something we can understand. A NY congressman admits having a child from an affair. What’s going on with these New York guys? First Spitzer. And now. . . .Vito J. Fossella!

Let’s see. He was pulled over for drunk driving and told officers he was going to see his daughter. And then one thing led to another and here we are reading about the poor child in the newspapers and on the internet. How did we get from there to here?

I don’t know. But I do know he was pulled over in Virginia! Let’s hear it for the home team! Let’s face it guy. Once you crossed that bridge into Virginia you entered a whole different world. We don’t play and we like to know who is coming to visit as well as who you are visiting and how many relatives you have.

All together not counting third cousins. We don’t care about those.

And finally seven more police officers were taken off street duty in Philadelphia after investigators looked at some video of about fifteen officers cajoling three shooting suspects during a traffic stop.

The three suspects who were all black except for their hair which was dyed several different colors are seen kneeling and praying on the street while the officers are kidding them about their hair styles. There is lots of joking going on until one of the officers accidentally kicks, punches and beats one of the suspects. Then the other officers realize that this officer is probably going to get into trouble even though it was an accident. And he wont’ have to be on the street for awhile where it is dangerous. He will get paid for staying home and watching ESPN all day long.

So they all start beating on the suspects.

Someone said that all of this activity may be racially motivated. But one of the officers was also black and was using hair dye so how could that be? A black person would never assault another black person.

Right?

  1. Rich says:

Disturbing stuff, I guess in that last article the attacks weren’t racially charged so much just evidence that those cops are bad people and should be severely diciplined, which I hope will happen anyway

Richs last blog post..Posting other people’s stuff, or ‘How I learned to stop worrying, and love the internets’

  2. 300 billion – I think there are many other more constructive ways we can use that kind of money. I need to run for president
