The White House is floating a new climate proposal these days. And No I am not trying to be funny. There was a cool film made a few years ago that showed some results of global warming. Much of the East Coast was under water and stuff was floating away.
Can the White House float in such an environment? I don’t know. But I’m sure there are a lot of politicians who can float really well. They will float out to sea.
Or maybe the sea will even come to them. Then they can float to Albany, New York or Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Whatever floats their boats! Teddy might want to consider taking a plane however.
He has not floated well in the past.
In any case the White House proposed some things and some Republicans got mad and accused it of “appeasement”. And then the White House broke and ran.
So much for that.
In other news defense attorneys spared Sen. David Vitter R-Louisiana from appearing on the witness stand in a federal prostitution trial yesterday. Vitter had earlier apologized to the world and God for a “very serious sin”.
What sin are you talking about David? Were you somehow involved with Deborah Palfrey and an alleged escort service? Did you happen to run into Eliot Spitzer while you were consulting with constituents?
Because Eliot seems to have reaped a whole lot more publicity than you over his late night activities.
And he lost his job too.
Apples and oranges. Governors and Senators. Sinkers and floaters.
Oh well.
And finally 139 women from a sect in Texas have returned to the ranch.
And we are not talking about President Bush’s ranch. This is another ranch and Charles Manson apparently did not stay here either. Although I would think that maybe digging a few holes is not out of the question.
Because this is not the Don Imus ranch either. Or the Roy Roger Ranch.
This is the freaking polygamist sect ranch! And the state of Texas let the women go back. Because they all missed their husband I guess. And he is one lucky guy let me tell you.
Although he is probably going to be pretty tired by the end of the week.
Hopefully they will never let the kids go back. In my opinion the children should not have to pay for the crazy decisions all their mothers and their father are making.
Maybe some of them have different fathers too. I’m not sure. But it seems pretty clear that there are more mothers than fathers.
And of one thing we can be sure. There are quite a few idiots out there on the ranch.
Call Don Imus. He’s not too busy. He and Bernie will go in there and whoop up on the man or men who are running this thing. They have been steaming for quite a few months now. They need an outlet.
And they need some exercise too.

So where is this ranch and how can I get one of my own. I love Big Love, is it really like that.
Unfortunately I think all us men can see at first would be the positive side of things there. All the servicing a guy would have to do. But there’s the other side and I imagine 139 wives ganging up on a guy could be a whole lot worse than one disgruntled wife. Hmmm I think I have some thinking to do.
